72+ Hours Aging Test
Each outdoor LED display module completes at least 72 hours of aging: 48 hours of white-balance aging and 24 hours of video aging. This process checks color uniformity, stability and defective LEDs before shipment.

The right outdoor LED display module must match the viewing distance, cabinet dimensions, ambient light, content type and maintenance method. Start with cabinet compatibility: two modules with the same pixel pitch are not interchangeable when their physical size, resolution, scan mode, mounting layout or connectors are different.

1. Select Pixel Pitch for the Actual Viewing Distance
A smaller pixel pitch places more pixels in the same display area and supports closer viewing or detailed content. A larger pitch is usually more economical when viewers are farther away. Do not select pitch from a simple distance formula alone: screen dimensions, content detail, camera use and budget also affect the correct choice.
2. Match the Existing Cabinet and Electronics
For replacement projects, confirm the module width and height, module resolution, scan mode, mounting-hole positions, power connector, data connector and hub or cable interface. Matching only the nominal pitch can result in incompatible electronics, incorrect cabinet alignment or an image that cannot be mapped correctly by the receiving card.
3. Specify Brightness and Camera Requirements
The listed outdoor LED display modules range from 4,000 to 10,000 nits. Select brightness for the installation direction and ambient light rather than automatically choosing the highest figure. For broadcast, live events or frequent phone-camera use, provide the camera frame-rate requirement so the driver IC, refresh rate and grayscale configuration can be matched before production.
4. Understand What IP65 Covers
The module front is specified to IP65. IEC 60529 defines the IP code used to classify protection provided by enclosures. IP65 does not mean that a complete LED display is submersible. Rear covers, cabinet sealing, power and data connections, drainage, ventilation and installation quality determine the finished system’s weather resistance.
5. Confirm the Final Configuration Before Ordering
Request a final specification sheet and confirm the LED brand, driver IC, brightness, refresh rate, scan mode, module size, connection type, warranty terms and spare-module quantity.
